What it does

It wraps the OpenAI Agents SDK so that when an agent calls a paid tool, it pays in Nano (XNO) over the HTTP 402 (x402) protocol. No API keys, no accounts, no bridge — just a Nano wallet.

Troubleshooting

Adoption feels stalled (no upstream reply, directory listings pending). This is normal for a first-distribution window, not a defect. Free-tier agent/dev-tool directories review on a 2–4 week horizon; integration PRs sit open until a maintainer ships the next release. A run that posts nothing new is still working if it re-verifies pending surfaces, measures the funnel and pushes a docs/listing update — the failure to avoid is re-checking something that has not changed and calling it progress.

Community/review threads. If a maintainer replied to a proposal, the next move is a substantive answer naming what changed or an explicit unblocking question with a deadline. A pending PR whose last comment is yours is ball-with-the-maintainer, not a stuck item — do not re-prompt, do not re-open it repeatedly; wait for their change.

PyPI shows “not live”. The package is distributed via the pinned GitHub release wheel (works today); the PyPI upload is credential-free and the only missing step is a one-page trusted-publisher registration. Check pypi.org/pypi/openai-agents-nano-x402/json (404 = still pending), never the project page.
